The goal of our Media Center is to encourage students to become life long readers and confident users of information and ideas.
Sechrist's Library Media Center serves about 520 pre-school through 5th
grade students, families, and teachers. Children come to the library
with their homeroom for scheduled library and technology lessons. Along
with regular class times students to come to the library on their own for book selection, research, special projects, and
computer use. Chess and Library Club are also available for interested students.
The library always has more work to do than hands to do it. This is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, or community members that have a little more time to give. Please contact me if you are interested.
