Ya'at'eeh, my name is Amy N. Begay, I am teaching 4th and 5th grade Dine students at Puente de Hozho Trilingual school. I am of the Tangle People, born for the Salt People. My maternal clan is Towering House and my paternal clan is Black Streaked clan. I am originally from Rock Point, Arizona and I have resided in Flagstaff for 17 years. I am looking forward to a great year working with each child learn the Dine language. I will be teaching Navajo reading, writing, speaking and incorporating these into our core subjects like Math and Science. Plus, I'll be supporting both the 4th and 5th grade English teachers with math, health, social studies, and Language Arts. Again, thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child in Dine.
