Project Description: The IDEA Excess Cost Grant funded 35 #550 HearIt SE Broadcaster &Trainer Units, 21 #530 HearIt SP-ED/BIL Packages and 7 #500 HearIt SE units. This equipment is used for students who have IEP goals specific for speech therapy services, particularly students with articulation and phonological awareness difficulties, students with reading comprehension problems and special education students in inclusive classrooms. This amplification equipment provides auditory amplification in the voice/speech range and improved auditory processing.
