  1. Student Council will be selling raffle tickets from Wednesday, September 24th to Wednesday, October 1st.  Tickets will be 50 cents each or 3 for $1.00.  There will be lots of prizes, so be sure to purchase your raffle tickets in the North Commons before school and at lunch.  Raffle will take place at the pep rally on Wednesday, October 1.  In order to receive your prize, be at the pep rally. 10/1

 

  1. Dome tickets for the CHS vs Higley game are on sale for $4.00 in the bookstore for this Friday’s game at 7:30 in the dome. Tickets at the door will be $5.50. 9/26

 

  1. Be respectful and responsible at the local businesses.  They are very unhappy with the amount trash and food left behind.  If this behavior continues access during the school day could be taken away.  Show Panther Pride on and off of campus.

 

  1. Yearbook needs your help.  If you have any pictures of you and your friends please bring them to room 325.  They will help us for pages in the amazing 2009 yearbook.  Also if you have a sibling that goes to the school with you please sign up for your chance to be on the sibling page.  You can purchase your yearbooks at Jostons.com for $55.00.

 

  1. There will be a fence crew working on the fence at Cedar and West.  Please be careful and respectful of the property and workers.

 

  1. Attention Club and Athletic Sponsors.  Homecoming is coming up quick which means parade time.  If you wish for you club or team to be in the parade turn in your parade entry form Wednesday September 24thy by 3rd hour to Student Council in room 306 ASAP.

 

  1. Next week is homecoming week!  The theme is celebrate good times.  Monday-Luau Day, Tuesday-Toga Day. Wednesday-Study Day, Thursday –Mardi Gras day and Friday is Spirit Day.  Wednesday October 1st is the Pep Rally @6:30 on the baseball fields.  Friday Oct. 3rd is the parade at 12:00 noon.  The Homecoming Football game is Friday October 3rd at 7:30 in the dome.  The homecoming dance is Saturday October 4the from 8-11 and the theme is Glow Bash. 

Before, during and after school the areas around the rec-center, and all forest and treed locations are off limits to students. 9/26 

  1. On Friday, September 26, a representative from Grand Canyon University will be at Coconino during 2nd hour. If you would like to meet with her please sign up in the Counseling Office. 9/25
  1. Attention teachers and students, please be cautious around all construction work on Izabel and at the stadium.  We appreciate your cooperation. 9/26

 

  1. Attention 9-11th grader the PSAT is October 15th sign up now in the bookstore. The cost is $18.00. Sign up deadline is October 9th. 10/9

 

  1. Native American Club meets in Room 320, Mr. Blackgoat's class.  Meetings will be every Monday after school and on Thursday during Lunch. 

 

  1. Basketball open gym Monday’s and Wednesday’s 6:30pm-8pm.
