       Our staff and I are looking forward to what we hope will be a great year at DeMiguel!. Each of us looks forward to working with you and our Flagstaff community.  As your principal, I am committed to helping you work with your child to create a productive and enjoyable learning experience at DeMiguel Elementary.  Our team welcomes and encourages your involvement in this process.  I am looking forward to meeting each of you as the school year begins.        The DeMiguel team encourages families to become involved in all aspects of their child’s educational experience. Research has demonstrated that students achieve a higher level of academic achievement if their parents are actively involved. At DeMiguel, we believe that families and staff work together to create an environment that enables students to excel. We would love to hear your ideas and compliments!

       In addition to our outstanding faculty, DeMiguel offers many exciting programs to further develop our students’ love of learning. As a N.A.S.A. Explorer School, we encourage students to observe the sky at our STAR Parties. We also offer band, strings, choir, TAG, DARE, Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math, and Masterpiece Art.  We hope these programs will foster lifelong talents and skills.
