Family and Community Teaming for Students

Looking for great activities for your kids this summer? Take a look at what Camp Iwannago 2009 has to offer. Hurry! Space is limited!

 

FACTS--Family and Community Teaming for Students, provides a safe and
drug-free community-wide before and after-school program where children have access to a broad range of activities, including sports, recreation, academic and enrichment opportunities. FACTS operates in the District's elementary
schools and is open to children ages 5 to 12, whether they attend public,
private or charter schools, or are home-schooled.

•  Computer Classes
•  Field trips

Services are also available on early-release days, snow days, many holidays, and summer.

A Great Variety of Options!

After school each day, your child will enjoy a snack, have an opportunity to work
on homework assignments with a certified teacher or other qualified adult, and enjoy a variety of recreational and enrichment activities. Some small group
tutoring is also available.

Depending on each site's specific interests, children will be able to learn and practice sports skills, learn dance, or take part in hands-on math, science and cooking activities. Clubs will meet once or twice weekly. Are your kids interested
in chess? Board Games? Paleontology? Let us know!

Registration is open to all children ages 5-12!

There is a $25.00 annual registration fee.

Pre-Payment

  • Family accounts must carry a credit against which hours in FACTS will be charged (i.e., if you have a credit of $30, one child may attend for 10 hours,
    at which time you will need to submit an additional payment for further time
    in FACTS).

Scholarships

  • Scholarships for the regular school year are accepted twice per year:
    • July 1 through September 15
    • January 1 through January 31
  • Families new to Flagstaff may be eligible for a scholarship outside the application windows shown above, if scholarship monies are available.
  • Scholarships are not available for FACTS Summer Camp.
  • Approved scholarships remain in effect through the last day of the current school year, regardless of the approval date.
  • All FACTS scholarships require a minimal co-pay based upon the family income and must be paid in advance at least weekly.
We're always looking for qualified groups or individuals to sponsor clubs and provide enrichment, recreational and learning activities.

FACTS is a non-profit, self-sufficient program dependent upon family fees and subsidies from:

•  Flagstaff Public Schools

Holidays and Snow Days are held a Knoles Elementary School, 4005 E. Butler Ave. (928) 527-8941

Holidays Hours: 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m

Snow Days Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m

Snow delay days will be held at each site from 7:30 until the start of school.
