PTO Volunteer Opportunity:

FMS Student Store

When you walk in the front doors of FMS at lunchtime, just past the crowd of students, you are looking at the PTO at work! The Student Store operates by a small army of volunteer parents that interact with the students while offering healthy food items that do not compete with the FMS cafeteria. Biff's Bagels make fresh-from-the-oven bagels available to the PTO daily. Funds raised by lunchtime sales go back to the student population in the form of student incentives, team funds, snacks for the AIMS testing week, and the end of year celebration for 8 th grade promotion.

The store coordinator, Lisa Nelson, makes it look like a smooth operation and is very good at what she does. Thank you, Lisa, and all the volunteers who are there Monday through Friday during the lunchtime!
