ATHLETICS Philosophy
The staff at FMS believes that every child be given the opportunity to participate in competitve sports. Therefore, FUSD's policy is states that every child can compete. All students who sign up will be guaranteed a spot on the roster and will be given the opportunity to play. Requirements:
* Thirty dollar ($30.00) mandatory activity fee
* Athletic clearance form must be completed before practice begins.
* Maintain a passing grade in all classes
* Student must sign up for individual sport with Athletic Director before the deadline.
* Student must demonstrate good sportsmanship and uphold the philosophy of VICTORY WITH HONOR. (Example: no hazing, bullying, or unkind acts.)
* All students will be issued locks/lockers and must secure their valuables. FMS will not be held accountable for stolen items.
* Students must participate in the required practices in order to compete.
Playing time can be reduced based on student promptness, attendance, attitude and behavior.
