The Human Resources Department will work to meet the District's mission by providing appropriate support and service to all schools, departments and employees. To this end the Human Resources Department will:

	Support equal employment opportunities for all.
	Be active in maintaining an employee group that is ethnically diverse.
	Ensure that all employees are provided equal treatment, due process, and maintenance of civil rights.
	Ensure that all employee records are kept confidential and protected according to applicable laws.
	Assist schools and departments in recruitment, selection, retention and promotion of employees.
	Solicit employee input in Human Resources processes, programs and procedures.
