Family and Community Teaming
for Students
Flagstaff Unified School District's Community Learning Centers
are open to anyone in the community on a space available basis. They
provide children a safe place to access academic support, cultural, recreational
and enrichment activities, and provide family and adult learning opportunities.
The Learning Centers program enables schools to

provide a safe place for homework centers and intensive
mentoring in basic skills |

furnish counseling and classes for drug and violence
prevention |

help middle school students to prepare for high school |
 |
support academic enrichment activities |
 |
participate in recreational activities |

What's Happening at Killip Elementary School
GED AND ESL CLASSES
These are offered every Monday and Wednesday evening in the library from 5:30 -
7:30 p.m. Classes are free and babysitting is provided. Call 779-6597 to

PARENTS ANONYMOUS
Free parenting classes for anyone in the parenting role. Classes and times
vary. Call 520 773-9133 for more information.
