Snow Day
Schedule
Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) has a Snow Day Schedule to help cope with winter weather and avoid unnecessary cancellation of school. The snow day schedule allows students walking and riding buses to avoid hazardous traffic conditions in the early morning and the additional two hours allows more time for plowing and cindering streets.
On the snow day schedule, school starts two hours later than usual. School buses run two hours later than normal. Afternoon dismissal times and school bus return schedules do not change.
Snow day schedule or cancellation of school will be announced over all local radio stations no later than 6:30 a.m on bad weather days. You may also log onto the district web site to check for a snow day schedule. Snow Schedule or call 527-6012.
Please do not bring your child to school early on days the snow day schedule is in effect. Supervision of students begins two hours later than usual.
