Your child's success depends largely on you. There are things that you
can do to insure your student's success at school:

1. Encourage your child to do well in school. Spend time reading
with your student. Check your child's agenda daily and
assist in making sure that all assignments are completed.

2. Praise your child for his or her efforts in school.

3. Communicate with your child's teacher and school staff.

4. Reduce unnecessary absences and make sure your student arrives at school on time.

5. Participate in the school as a volunteer, mentor, or community member..
