Remote Help

MIS has a remote help capability that allows us to remotely access customer computers for purposes of troubleshooting, training, etc. MIS and the customer have simultaneous access to the customer desktop during a remote help session. Procedures are simple and are detailed in on this Webpage.

Procedures

  • MIS personnel must be at their office PC to use this capability.
  • A remote help session must be pre-coordinated with MIS, as necessary for the capability to be enabled on the MIS end.
  • Use this link to initiate the session: Remote Help Typically, the MIS contact will be on the phone with you when you initiate the session and will walk you through the steps.
  • Three screens will appear in sequence once you initiate the remote help session.

  • Select "Run"

    Select "Run"

    Double click on the name of the MIS contact with whom you coordinated the remote session.

  • Once the connection to your computer has been established, both you and the MIS contact will have control of the mouse and keyboard inputs to that computer.
  • The connection is terminated terminated by MIS once the remote help session is complete.
