Technology Resources for Use in Teaching Science

There are many ways to integrate technology within your science teaching. Keeping in mind that technology is one tool through which science content is taught, the resources which follow are directly related to either general science or to the science concepts in the various grade level science kits used at the elementary level in FUSD.

Some of the sites are informational only; most hold interactive tasks for use with students on the classroom computer or in a lab setting. If you are able to access a computer projector, relevant activities can be done in a large group setting as well.

A. Both FOSS and GEMS include several online activities designed to complement their science kits. Included are games, vocabulary activities, and simulations designed to mesh with the science kits you use in the classroom.
