South Beaver is a school that strives to ensure a quality education for every student who passes through its doors. Students are given equal opportunity to achieve the highest levels that their efforts and abilities will allow. They are encouraged to do their personal best on every assignment in every subject throughout the school day as well as in extracurricular events in which they choose to participate.
Those that excel at the highest levels will be recognized at various activities throughout the school year. This requires that every student, parent, and faculty member demonstrate fairness, integrity and good character when competing in the classroom or on the athletic field. This also includes extracurricular activities such as student council elections and awards given to students during the year.
We believe that a good education involves learning to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. There are valuable lessons to be learned from both circumstances.
