• Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year and

    remote learning with Mrs. Locke!

Remote learning is going to take some getting used to for all of us. This page should help you navigate to the digital resources you will need for Architectural Interior Design.

It is very important that you have and use your district issued student iPad so that you can access the apps that the district has provided for us to use.

Here is a list of apps the district has provided that you will need to have installed on your iPad:

    Student Vue

    Zoom

    Canvas

    Nearpod

    Padlet

    Sketchbook

    Claro PDF

    Google Drive

    Google Doc

All of these apps can be found and installed through the “Self Service” app on your student iPad. Some of these apps can be accessed through a web browser but you must make sure you are using your FUSD student account to login.

We will be using Zoom for our live lessons every day. Please follow these guidelines and expectations for class:

    • Identify a quiet workspace for your class and limit distractions, such as silencing your phone.

    • Check your surroundings.

    • Make sure your background is appropriate for a school setting. Maybe use a virtual background.  You can access Coconino’s Zoom backgrounds here.

    • Be on time! Be logged into Zoom and ready to begin class at the start of the period.

    • Mute your microphone unless asking a question, contributing to class discussion or making a presentation, or as otherwise directed by your teacher.

    • Dress appropriately. Your attire should reflect CHS expectations for student dress code.

The Zoom link for your class is posted in our Canvas Classroom.

All coursework will be assigned through our online learning platform called Canvas. Assignments, quizzes, tests, additional resources and lessons will all be accessible and must be done through Canvas.
