          Welcome to 5th grade! I am thrilled to be your student's classroom teacher. We work hard in our class to persevere through challenging tasks, learn from our mistakes and celebrate our achievements.  I believe in learning through all different lenses and I honor all different types of learners. In Fifth grade, we continue to be responsible learners and contributors to our community. 
     
           I am a native to Flagstaff and attended the University of Arizona, Coconino Community College and Northern Arizona University. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to teach in my hometown and home school, Marshall. In 5th grade, we will be engaging in, both rigorous and an exciting year of STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), reading, writing and social studies! We learn to extend our leadership capabilities and prepare to be life long learners.
