Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Mrs.Hart's Web page.
I would like to share a few things about myself so you will get to know me a little better.
I was born and raised in a small copper mining town in Southern Arizona named San Manuel. I moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University to major in Elementary/Special Education. I did my student teaching right here at Killip in a 4th grade classroom. My first teaching job was at Washington Elementary School in Winslow. I taught Intermediate Special Education for two years, then was fortunate enough to get to come "home" to Killip as a Special Education Resource Teacher. I held that position for two years. My next step was moving into a 4th grade teaching position which I dearly loved. I made an amazing move to third grade, and have furthered my Killip journey through becoming an Instructional Specialist.
A few of my favorite things include my husband and three fabulous grandboys. The sound of children laughing, the sight of children engaged in their education, and the Ah ha moments that occur as students capture the concept being taught are at the top of my list as well. I am passionate about my career choice.
