Civics Test 2017-2018
In 2015, the Arizona Department of Education signed into law a new high school graduation requirement. This new law comes from House Bill 2064 stating that in order to receive a high school diploma in Arizona, students must pass a civics exam with at least 60% proficiency. This graduation requirement applies to all students beginning with the graduating class of 2017.
November 14th or 16th - Juniors and Seniors still needing to pass.
March 12th or 13th - Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors still needing to pass.
May 8th or 10th - Freshmen, Juniors, and Seniors still needing to pass.
All administrations of the civics test will take place on the computers in the Library and the 611 computer lab.
Practice tests and flashcards can be found on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services webpage.
