Civics Test 2017-2018

    What?

    In 2015, the Arizona Department of Education signed into law a new high school graduation requirement. This new law comes from House Bill 2064 stating that in order to receive a high school diploma in Arizona, students must pass a civics exam with at least  60% proficiency. This graduation requirement applies to all students beginning with the graduating class of 2017.

    When/Who?

    November 14th or 16th - Juniors and Seniors still needing to pass.

    March 12th or 13th - Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors still needing to pass.

    May 8th or 10th - Freshmen, Juniors, and Seniors still needing to pass.

    Where?

    All administrations of the civics test will take place on the computers in the Library and the 611 computer lab.
