• The Arizona Seal of Biiteracy is a formal recognition given to students for achieving mid- to high levels of literacy in two languages.  At Coconino High School, the Seal of Biliteracy is granted to students who meet the following criteria:

    • Maintain a 3.0 G.P.A. in English Language Arts Classes (ELA) AND
      • Achieve a score of 3 or better on the AP Spanish Exam, OR
      • Achieve designated level of proficiency on the AAPPL exam, OR
      • Achieve designated level of proficiency on the Navajo Language Proficiency Exam

     

    • The AAPPL exam is only available to senior students enrolled in a Spanish 3 class.
