Practice Problems, or “homework”, will be assigned for most lessons. The purpose of the practice problems is to provide additional opportunities to work with the concepts demonstrated in class. Teachers will briefly go over the practice problems the following day. It is expected that students have attempted the practice problems and have brought in questions for the beginning of the class the following day. Following the review of the practice problems the students will complete a checkpoint based on the practice problems. The checkpoint will be graded and put into the gradebook. If a student is absence for a checkpoint a zero will be placed in the gradebook until it is made up by scheduling a time with the teacher to make up the checkpoint.
