COVID-19 Data Dashboard
The Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) believes that transparency is vital for all stakeholders and continues to provide updated communication and resources for families, team members, and the greater Flagstaff community regarding response efforts to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, a summary of the active COVID-19 cases by school site for the previous week and the total number of positive cases since August 1, 2021, is provided. The data below is for cases in which a COVID-19 positive case has been confirmed through contact tracing.
Individuals who test positive are excluded from participation in any in-person or on-campus activities until FUSD determines that the individual meets the return criteria set by state and local health agencies.
Communications regarding positive cases, direct and indirect exposures, and personal health information of staff and students fall within FERPA/HIPAA guidelines and the privacy rights of students and team members must be protected. When a positive case is reported to any FUSD school, it must be reported to the Coconino County Health Department and FUSD conducts contact tracing. Upon determining a positive case, FUSD communicates accordingly with possible direct and in-direct contacts at the site of the positive case. This communication includes information on location of the positive case, COVID-19 symptoms, testing locations, and isolation guidelines.

The final column reflects Total Positive COVID-19 cases since August 1, 2021, and this data includes the cases investigated in the previous week.
Disclaimer: All COVID-19 data FUSD shares are for informational purposes only. This information is based on reports made to the district from sources which have not been independently verified. FUSD collaborates with Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) to track COVID-19 cases and trace close contacts.
Athletic Related Cases
For the week of May 1, 2022, FUSD had 0 confirmed athletic-related COVID-19 cases. There have been a total of 82 confirmed positive athletic-related COVID-19 cases since August 1, 2021, which are included in the table above, that have resulted in individual and/or team quarantines. Due to the high volume of cases this school year, the FUSD COVID-19 Support Team was unable to identify all of the positive student cases that were also athletes. As a result, the total number may be higher for this year.
