• What is the Lifeskills Program?

         The SMS Lifeskills program is a cross categorical class designed to meet the needs of students with intellectual or developmental disabilities.  The class curriculum is designed to incorporate each student's Individual Education Plan. 
         Each students IEP is designed by a team of teachers, parents, related service providers, administrators, and any other professional who works with the student.
         The program provides its students with education and training in the following areas:
              -General Academics
              -Workplace skills
              -Functional Academics
              -Daily Living Skills
              -Community Based Instruction
              -Adaptive P.E.
              -Study Skills
              -Inclusion Classes
