• Greetings,
I am passionate about science and am thrilled to be teaching here at Coconino High School! My science background includes a B.S. in environmental science from NAU; a B.S. in secondary education (biology focus) from NAU, and an M.S. in secondary science education from Portland State University. I taught middle and high school for two years in Oregon and worked at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) as a youth program coordinator for six years. Family brought me back to Arizona in 2006, when I was fortunate to gain employment with FUSD teaching science at Sinagua High School. I moved over to Coconino High School in 2010, where I have taught earth science, oceanography, astronomy, biology, life science and AP environmental science classes. I look forward to continuing to teach for FUSD and furthering my own education in the sciences through various local opportunities. I have also collaborated extensively in recent years with the NAU Teach and MAT-S programs. In my free time I enjoy exploring the local trails and the wonders of the Colorado Plateau region.
    Thanks for stopping by!
