Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Just so you know a little about me...this will be my 27th year teaching--all in middle school.  I grew up here in Flagstaff and went to Kinsey Elementary School, Flagstaff Junior High and graduated from Flagstaff High School. I then attended NAU and earned my B.A. in Education and received a M.A. in Science Teaching. I spent my first two years teaching in Payson, AZ before returning to Flagstaff and I have been here ever since. I taught at Flagstaff Middle School and am now at Sinagua!  

When I am not busy teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband is also a teacher--he teaches math at Flagstaff High School--and he is also the varsity soccer coach there. We have two awesome kids! My daughter is 17 and my son is 12. We also have a crazy black labrador retriever named Bailey. 

I enjoy being outdoors exploring new places, camping, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
