I am very excited about beginning the 2022-2023 school year!  This will be my 11th year teaching at Sinagua Middle School. I will have the privilege of teaching 6th Grade Science and Engineering for the MIT-e program!  We will be learning about Life Science, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, the Engineering Design Process, and much more!  Please see the syllabus, which includes information on both courses, for specific details.

 

To give you a bit of information about me, I taught 6th Grade Science for seven years at Sinagua Middle School and have taught Science and Engineering for the MIT-e program for the last three years. I earned my M. Ed. Elementary Education K-8 Mathematics and Science from Walden University and my BS. Ed. Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University, where I also played for their Women's soccer team. I was born and raised in Flagstaff and adore being part of this community! In my free time I love being outside climbing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, or kayaking! Most times I am accompanied by my trusty adventure buddies, my husband and my dogs, Remi and Leroux!
