I coordinate the Transition from School to Work (TSW) program at Coconino HS. Our program, funded jointly by the Flagstaff USD and AzRSA-Vocational Rehabilitation, is dedicated to assisting differently-abled high school students transition to adult life.

The Coconino HS TSW program’s formal courses are titled Resource School to Work.  Multiple on campus worksites are employed to promote our course curriculum including The Community Work program, the Community Free Store, the Panther Teacher Assistance program, the Panther Print Shop, and Panther Recycling. We also provide off campus worksites. Although varied in content from hand and power tool training, to basis home yard upkeep, to sustainability and recycling, to retail skills, to office work, to job readiness, all Resource School to Work courses vie to meet the individual needs of participating students.

Students are expected to attend daily, participate fully, and collaborate with each other completely. FUSD policies for tardiness, absences, and grades will be closely followed.  Grades will be awarded on a Pass/Fail basis determined by adherence to the previously stated expectations. Please contact us immediately with any questions or concerns.
