The Fit Kids program at Summit High School is provided through a partnership with Northern Arizona Healthcare. Summit High School is one of 20 schools that are impacted by this program.
This program seeks to provide youth with opportunities to become more physically active and fit through exercise and nutrition. The partnership provides Summit with the resources and equipment necessary to run an after school activity program. Students are welcome to participate in a range of activities including, basketball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, weight training, circuit training, and spinning. Healthy snacks such as fruit smoothies will be provided to students who attend. Activity buses are provided for students who need transportation to attend Fit Kids.
Fit Kids is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays after school in the Summit High school weight room and gym. For more information, contact the sponsor, Mr. Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
