Welcome to Ms. Buffington's Second Grade EPA!

It's going to be a great year, and I can't wait to meet you!

This is my 31st year of teaching!  I'm originally from Indiana, and spent my childhood playing in cornfields and swimming competitively.  I went to Purdue University, graduated in 1990, and started teaching second grade.  My two children, Morgen and Kylin, are at Flagstaff High School. We have two bonded kittens that race around the house and make us laugh. I've had many different jobs, but second grade is my favorite. I believe in project-based, child-centered learning, and think that children are wonderful humans!
