Hello!  I am the Director/ Special Education Teacher for Project Turn It Around at Flagstaff High School.  Many of you may know me as last year's Bridges Teacher. I am very fortunate to be teaching at FHS for a second year.  Prior to teaching at FHS, I was at Knoles Elementary School for five years.  I started as a paraprofessional, taught the Beacon I program for three years, then ended my elementary teaching career in a resource classroom.

A little about me:  I was raised in San Diego, California, and moved to Flagstaff in 2009 to attend NAU.  I earned degrees in Elementary and Special Education, with an Early Childhood Endorsement.  My job as a paraprofessional inspired me to earn my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis. In my free time, I love to run, hike, backpack, do yoga, snowboard, and rock climb.  I also occassionally pick up bartending gigs around town to support my travel fund, which has afforded me the opportunity to see 20 countries and more than half of the 50 states!  I also love spending time with my two dogs, Zeus and Omar, and my kitty, Cobain.

Please use this site to keep up with any FUSD updates, and use my email contact me with any questions or concerns. Parents and students are encouraged to email me at any time throughout the school year.
