My name is Annabelle Smallcanyon. I am of the Black-Streak-Wood People Clan, born for the Bitter-Water Clan. My Maternal Grandfather are of the Yucca-Fruit-Strung-On-A-Line Clan and my Paternal Grandfather are the Edge-Water Clan. I reside in Leupp, Arizona with my family.
I am honored to teach your child/children our Navajo Language so they will have the ability to speak, read, write and communicate effectively. For 39 years, I've worked as a Bilingual Assistant and a Navajo Language Instructor here at Leupp Public School. I've developed and created numerous materials to enhance our language. I am very proud of our Navajo children as they are enthused about their heritage. Keep teaching at home what our grandparents taught us.
