Hello 5th graders! 

I am so excited to meet all of you and be your teacher this year! 

I am originally from Yuma, Az. I just graduated from NAU with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. This is my second year teaching 5th grade at Killip. I am originally from Yuma, AZ, but have been a resident in Flagstaff for 7 years. I love to be outdoors, and spend time with my family and dogs. I have 2 dogs, whose names are Lacey and Roscoe. 

In 5th grade we learn about Life Science, Space, American History, and how to be Good Citizen. We work on reading, writing, and having a growth mindset to encourage ourselves and others! We also continue to improve our skills in math, working on adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and we work with fractions too!
