Welcome, my name is Mr. Dolentz or Mr. D and I will be teaching 7th Grade Social Studies at Sinagua Middle School. I am in my 13th year of teaching students ranging in ages from 5 - 18 years old. I have taught in 6 different states across the west and midwest but grew up in Minnesota. I come from a family of teachers Mom (retired elementary teacher) and my brother who is a ( 3rd grade teacher). I used to go into my moms school to help with her classes where I developed the love of learning and teaching. My favorite class in school was Geography so I am excited I get to teach Social Studies. In my free time I love to play and coach all sports but especially hockey. I also can be found skiing, hiking, and spending time with my family. My wife and I have 2 daughters who are in elementary school.
