This is a picture of myself, Ms. Addison Yacko
  • Hello! My name is Ms. Addison Yacko, and I am excited to get to work with some amazing sixth graders this year. I am a recent graduate of Northern Arizona University, and have been a consistent part of the Sinagua family in some capacity for about a year now. I have worked in many different schools within FUSD during my practicums at NAU, and also as a caregiver with the FACTS program, which is how I ended up staying in Flagstaff instead of moving back to Illinois- I just couldn't leave the district (or Flagstaff) yet. When I'm not at school, I like to watch the Chicago Cubs or camp with my sister and our dog, Atlas.

This year, on top of being a Special Education Case Manager, I will be teaching English Language Arts (two co-taught sections, two resource classes, and one ELA lab). I know we'll have to work a little harder throughout our time away from the school, but I am still SO excited to meet and get to know all of you.

Please keep checking this page for a link to our virtual classroom, which will be posted shortly. If you have any questions or if you'd like to talk with me, please don't hesitate to reach out to me using any of my contact information below.

I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the unfamiliar ones. We're going to have an amazing year together!
