    Welcome to Mr. Rhode's Language Arts page.  I encourage communication through emails for status on your child's education.  Please contact the office for passwords for Parent/Student Vue to access grades and assignments.  Welcome to Sinagua Middle School!
     
     
     
    Students will need to have the following items to be successful in this class:
    Pens/pencils (and spares).
    Notebooks/folders for taking notes  *Please keep this for Language Arts only!
    Loose leaf paper for in class assignments/activities.
    A separate notebook for journal writing.  ( Loose leaf paper is also fine for this)  
    A book/novel for reading.  This book should be age level appropriate.
     
    All assignments are due on the due date.  If absent, the homework is due two days later.  After two days, points will be deducted.  Deduction points can be waived if pre-arrangements are made for future absences. 
     
    Please refer to this page for any happenings in my class and I will update as much as possible.  Parents are encouraged to contact me at any time via email (above) and to visit the classroom. 
     
    Supplies that are always needed:  Kleenex, hand sanitizer, loose leaf paper, markers, crayons, glue, pens/pencils.  Feel free to make a tax donation to the English department, Sinagua Middle School, or any department of your choice!  Please see Candace Webster for tax credit donation or information can be found on SMS home page.
