For over twenty years, Knoles Elementary School has honored current and former members of our armed services with our Veterans Day assembly. We will be carrying on that tradition this year, but it will look a little different. We are going to host a Virtual Veterans Day Program. There are many options on how your student can participate, and ALL the options are available to EVERYONE in our Knoles community. Here's how Knoles students can participate this year: 1) Students can join our Virtual Choir and record a video singing patriotic songs. 2) Students can email a picture of a family member or friend who is a Veteran for our slide show during the program. 3) Students can record a short tribute to a veteran, which could include an interview, an essay, a poem, an expressive dance, or patriotic artwork. The DEADLINE for ALL submissions is Friday, November 6th at 5 PM. The final video will be posted on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11th. Mr. Rauschenbach will be talking about this in music class for the next two weeks, but if you have questions or need more detail, please look for the emails sent by Mr. Rauschenbach for more information or contact him directly with any questions you might have. Thanks in advance for making our Virtual Veterans Day special!
