    Flagstaff USD is introducing a new communications tool called Anonymous Alerts® to allow students or parents to easily report urgent information to school officials anonymously across all of our school campuses when students return to school following the Thanksgiving Break. The system encourages students, parents and community to confidentially report bullying, cyber-bullying, and other sensitive topics to our administration.

  • The CHS Great Cardboard Boat Race

    Coconino High School recently held the annual Great Cardboard Boat Race where students were challenged to create a boat entirely out of cardboard and duct tape (applied only to the seams) that can hold the weight of two people, and paddle it across a real pool. The Coconino Institute of Technology’s sophomore class and AP Physics 2 class competed, with almost 90 students paddling over 50 boats.

    On Wednesday, November 13th, students from Marshall Elementary School had a field trip to the Toys for Tots warehouse. The first and fifth graders did an awesome job sorting toys for kids all over Coconino County! Both Mrs. Ogg and Mrs. Grimmett's classes have learned how to help the community, how to be kind, and what it means to be a giver.

  • JROTC Celebrates Veterans Day with Havasupai Tribal Council

    Six Cadets from the CHS JROTC Panther Battalion Color Guard traveled to Supai via helicopter to support the 2019 Veteran's Pow Wow at Havasu Creek. The Cadets opened the ceremonies by presenting the Colors with the National Anthem, then provided the assembled tribal participants from all over the Western US, Canada, and Mexico with a demonstration of precision drill.
