  • Arizona Department of Education Statement on Face Coverings

    AZDHS Emergency Measure 2020-04 is still in effect, requiring masks in all K12 schools. Masking is one of the top mitigation strategies for safe in-person learning as recommended by the CDC. Masks must be worn on school campuses, on school buses and during school-associated activities by all students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors.

  • Kayley Quick named 20 Under 40

    "A dream for many creative types, Kayley Quick has been able to make a living as an artist. Her work has been installed at the Coconino Center for the Arts four times, graces the walls of Starlite Lanes, Salsa Brava, The Sweet Shoppe and Southside Tavern in the form of murals, and she has also created a number of commemorative band posters for the Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill Park."

  • McKenzie Bevirt named to 20 Under 40

    "A healthcare professional for more than 15 years, McKenzie Bevirt has been a leader in the Flagstaff Unified School District since 2010 when she first came on board as a school nurse. During the current health crisis, Bevirt has served as the Chief Health Administrator to coordinate the school district’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic."

  • Testing Schedule Update

    Beginning April 5, 2021, all FUSD schools will enter the state testing window for state-mandated assessments in the areas of Writing, English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science that are given in grades 3 through 11. Each school will be creating specific testing dates that fall within these windows based on the dates that work best for their students.

  • Return to School Plan Update and Governor EO 2021-04

    To comply with Executive Order 2021-04 issued by Governor Doug Ducey on Wednesday, March 4, 2021, the Flagstaff Unified School District will modify the return to in-person instruction schedule to include all elementary school grade bands returning on Monday, March 22, 2021.
