Sinagua Robotics Club competes in Phoenix

Sinagua students work on a robot at a competition hosted in Phoenix, Arizona. Those robots will not build themselves.  Flagstaff Unified School District is proud to support Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatic (STEM) intiniatives that support student academic outcomes and experiences.  Just recently, Sinagua Middle School Robotics Team made the trip to Phoenix this past weekend to participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament.
This is the first year that Sinagua has had a competition team and is the only FIRST Tech Challenge Team (grades 7-12) in FUSD. Being one of the youngest and newest teams in the competition, the Mustangs Robotics Team performed held their own and will be back next year.
