In the Hunt: High Schools Going Deep into Playoffs

Student athletes from Coconino and Flagstaff high schools are having a busy spring break by moving further into the playoffs.  Each of the games are available via livestream with a subscription to the AIA NFHS Network. 
The Coconino High School Boys’ Basketball team will face-off against St. Mary’s High School on Thursday, March 18.  The match up will put the #4 Panthers against top seed St. Mary’s.  This game can be watched here.
Flagstaff High Schools’ Girls Soccer team will face off against Prescott high School from Bradshaw Mountain High School on Wednesday, March 17 at 5:00 p.m.  This game can be watched here.
Both schools have wrestlers who have qualified for the state tournament as well.  Coconino High School wrestlers are participating in the Division III State Championships.  Participating wrestlers include Anthony Escalera (15-3), Tony Hernandez (9-3), Nickolas Phillips (13-0), Michael Woods (7-10), Cooper French (16-0), Noah Merrell (10-8), Thayer Nez (8-10), Damingo Pimentel (10-5), and Trey Wood (5-7).  Flagstaff High School’s Chase Ramsgate (7-1) and Zachary Collins (7-4) are participating in the AIA Division II State Championships.  Information regarding watching the matches can be found here.
