Kinsey Inquiry and Discovery School Becomes First School in Arizona to Begin the All Kids Bike Program
Kinsey is the first school in Arizona to bring on the All Kids Bike program
Kinsey Inquiry and Discovery School (KIDS) is the first school in Arizona to bring on the All Kids Bike® program thanks to fundraising from the community and Pearl iZumi. The community raised $2,800 for this program and Pearl iZumi, a cycling gear company, matched this amount in their contribution.
“This program will not only expose our students to bike riding but will also develop the coordination skills which are such a foundational aspect of Kindergarten,” said Kinsey Integration Specialist Joe Caslin. “I was so excited to discover an organization like All Kids Bike existed and I believe that the mission of this organization and Kinsey School is a perfect match.”
All Kids Bike® is a national program with the mission to teach every child in the United States how to ride a bike. The program provides schools with everything they need to teach kindergarteners how to ride a bike including teacher training and certification, a structured 8-lesson curriculum, a fleet of Strider® 14x bikes, pedal conversion kits, fully adjustable helmets, and a five-year support plan.
