About the Show:

In Roaring Twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the fall—until he discovers the deception and turns on her. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie meets fellow "Merry Murderess" Velma Kelly, and the two compete for headlines, the spotlight, and ultimately team up in pursuit of the American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal.
