Flagstaff Unified School District is in the process of adopting new textbook for Astronomy.  Textbook is titled “Astro 3: Indroductory Astronomy” by Seeds and Backman, 2020.  Textbook is both in print and online.  

According to Board Policy (I-5800 IJJ), materials recommended by the materials adoption committee will be placed on public display for 60 days prior to the board meeting at which the Governing Board will consider the adoption as per the committee’s final recommendation.  

The student edition textbooks being considered for adoption are located at the Flagstaff Unified School District’s Administrative Office at 3285 E. Sparrow Avenue, in the Curriculum & Instruction Office.  The book can be reviewed from 8:00 am – 4:00 PM until September 8, 2022.
