Coconino High School is thrilled to announce that Tadd Ragan will serve as the new CHS Principal beginning the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Ragan is a Panther through and through and currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Coconino High School after previously serving in a similar role at Sinagua Middle School and as a former Coconino High School teacher and coach. Tadd is a leader whose focus is on creating a school culture that fosters staff collaboration and high expectations for student success.

As Principal, he will guide and support staff in creating innovative and engaging instruction, and inform decisions with data and input from stakeholders.  Mr. Ragan will continue to demonstrate his Panther Pride and support the school's vision to create and maintain a vibrant school community that exemplifies academic excellence and models global citizenship.

Dear Panther Students and Families,

I am honored to be the next Principal at Coconino High School.  As a long-time member of the Panther community, I am grateful for this opportunity. The goal is to continue the upward trajectory of the school.  Mrs. Zanzucchi and I are already meeting, collaborating, and talking daily to ensure a smooth transition. I would like to thank Mrs. Zanzucchi for her commitment to and leadership of the Panther Community over the past 13 years.  She has been a great mentor and friend for me and many others during her distinguished career.  I wish her the best in the next chapter of her life. I am excited and I look forward to collaborating with all of you next school year.
