Keep your learner home from school when...
- Your learner has a fever of 100.0 degrees or greater.
- Until your student is fever free for at least 24 hours without taking any fever-reducing medication containing Tylenol and Ibuprofen.
- Your learner has chicken pox and the pox are not scabbed over.
- Your student is experiencing diarrhea or vomiting (persistent stomach ache should be evaluated by your health care provider)
- Your learner has "heavy" nasal congestion or a deep hacking cough with or without a fever
- Any unexplained rash accompanied by fever (please contact the nurse)
