Average Teacher Salaries

  • With the Governing Board adoption of the school year budget, the Flagstaff Unified School District has an average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2021 of $52,855. As a comparison, the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2020 was $50,560, an increase in average teacher salaries from the previous year of $2,295 or a percentage increase of 4.54%.

  • Leupp Public School to Return to Remote 4/19

    In respect of the sovereignty of the Navajo Nation, its public health Executive Order 2021-008, and direct notification from the Office of Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez, the Flagstaff Unified School District has decided that Leupp Elementary School will return to remote learning effective on Monday, April 19, 2021.

  • Arizona Launching COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Flagstaff

    A state COVID-19 vaccination site in Flagstaff will open Monday, April 19 at NAU’s University Union Fieldhouse. This indoor vaccination site will offer Pfizer vaccine to those aged 16 and over and will operate seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the potential to expand hours to 7 p.m. The site will offer around 1,000 appointments per day to start but will be able to administer more than 4,000 doses daily.
