Flagstaff Unified School District Committees
Collaboartion, community, and oversight are what make the Flagstaff Unified School District a destination for families and community partners who support equitable and high expecations in public education. Working together, groups from throughout the community participate in various communitees focused on making student achievement possible. This site serves as a one stop shop for committee work - highlighting membership, agendas, resources, and more.
Citing the need to dismantle barriers that negatively impact Indigenous students, students of color, students with disabilities, and LGBTQ+, the Governing Board of the Flagstaff Unified School District established an Anti-Racism, Anti-Bias Task Force at its July 14th meeting. The purpose of the task force is to create and apply a shared understanding and commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism - a key FUSD commitment outlined in the District strategic plan adopted by the Governing Board in early 2018.
The Bond Oversight Committee is made up of local Flagstaff-area residents, members of the FUSD Governing Board, and staff. Each member lends their expertise to the decision making process as the committee meets to approve and review the funding and progress of various projects and consider additional District needs.
