    Hello Track Family,

It feels great to send out the first message of the upcoming 2021 track season. As I am sure you are all aware, but everything has been changing almost daily. I will try to communicate any major changes as they come.

Here is what we know as of right now. The first day of Spring Sports will be March 1st. This was pushed back because of Winter Sports. Because of the 2 week push back this means the first meets can start the week of our Spring Break, expect the first Varsity Invite to be on March 20th, the first JV meet has not been determined yet. The individual conferences will be meeting to see if we want to push our state championship meets back 2 weeks as well. When that is decided I will let you know.

Lastly, Spring Sport Registration is NOW OPEN! If you would like to participate in track this season I encourage you register ASAP. It is very important, more than ever, that athletes are cleared by March 1st, if not the athlete cannot participate untiled cleared. Please also make sure you read the directions carefully as there have been updates due to COVID policies. I also encourage athletes to start working out on their own so that we are ready on March 1st.

Please let me know if you have any questions at mbarquin@fusd1.org
