In 2015, the Arizona Department of Education signed into law a new high school graduation requirement. This law comes from House Bill 2064 stating that in order to receive a high school diploma in Arizona, students must pass a civics exam with at least 60% proficiency. This graduation requirement applies to all students beginning with the graduating class of 2017.
Civics Test Dates:
The test will be administered throughout the school year in students History classes.
