Law Enforcement I (Dual Enrollment) 

Grades: 10-12 College Prep: CTE credit Prerequisite: None Fee: $30 and CCC Tuition
Description: This class is to introduce the students to the career field of Criminal Justice. The class will cover mostly the foundations of Criminal Justice. The student will learn the vocabulary of the industry, the history, the changing environment, and the many career fields in the industry. This class is taught through CCC and is their introductory class for Criminal Justice AJS 101. We discuss real life situations in an open manner. We will have 46 guest speakers and some hands-on activities. The students can receive both a CTE credit and CCC credit. This course will lead into Law Enforcement II.

Law Enforcement II (Dual Enrollment)  

Grades: 11-12 College Prep: CTE Credit Prerequisite: Law Enforcement I Fee: $30 and CCC Tuition Description: This class is to introduce the students to the area of Crime Scene Investigation. We will learn the process Law Enforcement goes about investigating a crime scene. The students will sketch the scene, measure, photograph, and collect evidence. They will learn how to store evidence and the process of transferring the evidence to be processed scientifically, or to a detective, or to the courts. They will learn about the court procedures and testifying about their involvement in the investigation. We will have hands-on activities, so the students can learn about investigating a crime scene.
